Auckland Future Selects Candidate for Albert-Eden-Roskill

Auckland Future has selected Auckland lawyer Rob Harris to contest the Albert-Eden-Roskill ward.

Rob Harris is employed by top tier law firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts and specialises in construction and property law.

Auckland Future campaign organiser, Sue Wood, said Rob is a great addition to the team and will bring a fresh face to the Council table.  “Rob is smart and energetic and has the professional experience to make a great contribution to the community.”

“With former Mayor and longstanding councillor, Christine Fletcher, contesting the second seat in the ward they will be a formidable team,” she said. “We are delighted to have Rob on board.”

As a successful young professional, Rob will be a strong advocate for the interests of aspirational Aucklanders around the Council table. Issues such as housing affordability and public transport have a big impact on younger Aucklanders and residents of Albert-Eden- Roskill and Rob is motivated to make sure solutions meet the needs of Auckland’s growing and vibrant communities.

Rob joins Auckland Future candidates Cr Denise Krum (Maungakiekie-Tamaki), Lisa Whyte (Albany), Christina Atoa-Tapu and Aminiasi Ika Tameifuna (Manukau).  Further Auckland Future selections are pending.
